Excellent location?will be back!
Liked: Loved the location, comfy beds, clean rooms.
Disliked: Shower seemed a bit off?either it was the shower head or the water pressure.

Great location and close to...
Liked: The bed was comfy and breakfast was good. It was neat that they offered beer and wine for sale.
Disliked: My sister would have liked a rail in the shower.

Accom as expected, Walking distance...
Liked: refreshed ?Red Lion? facility, nicely furnished room but some of room hardware still needs replacing (toilet, shower hardware, door security latch). Good breakfast

Liked: The place was really nice. Good value. Great breakfast!
Disliked: The Tv wasn?t in a good place to watch. The waffle machine quit working, but the lady helped my husband.

Sad when a Motel 6...
Liked: The only positive thing I can say about this place was the service desk people. The check-in was quick and when I had issues they were friendly about taking care of them in a timely manner. Until I called with questions after our stay about why I was charged $5 for something 2 days after check-out. The lady I spoke with explained to me that they charge $5 for water left in the room and I explained to her that there was no water in that room except for what comes out of the tap and she argued that every room has a bottle of water in the room. The charge isn't even the point. The fact that we were charged for something we didn't use is my point and then the rude way she handled it when I had explained it wasn't in there and we didn't use it and there is no way I would ever pay that for a bottle of water, and I thanked her for explaining it but told her I would be contacting corporate for the other issues and she said, "okay" and then hung up on me. I was expecting some kind of apology since they are in the service industry, silly me for expecting that.
Disliked: I don't even know where to start on what I "didn't like". First, we noticed the room had an awful, funky smell the minute we walked in. It wasn't a "clean" smell that we usually experience when we stay at hotels. We stay at hotels frequently because sometimes we just need to get away or we need to spend more than a day trip in the towns we go to. So, that was off-putting to start out. Then, after we got settled in, I usually drink coffee no matter what time of day it is and it was nice that they did have a Keurig in the room, would have been even nicer if there wasn't long, black hairs all over it and then coarse dark dog hair all over the counter. That wasn't awesome. I usually grab my own k-cup brand from the store before we stay in a hotel, so after I cleaned up the coffee area (again, something no guest paying that much money should ever have to do), I popped in a k-cup and discovered that the coffee maker just flat refused to dispense the water, no matter what I did. I had to call the service desk and ask them if they could swap out the coffee maker and they were really good about getting to me quick and exchanging it out and were very apologetic. I get it, electronics go out, definitely not their fault and they handled it appropriately. The people there were super nice, so I am at a loss as to why that lady I spoke with about the additional charge was so rude. The beds were so-so comfortable. But the bed smelled weird. The floors were not all that clean either. They have laminate flooring, pretty easy to keep clean, but they weren't. Overall it was just an unpleasant stay, and we will not go back- above and beyond that, when the people we know are looking for recommendations on where to stay when they are in Bend, the first thing I am going to tell them is to stay away from Signature Bend.
