Liked: The unit itself was clean and cozy,and the greeter/staff was friendly enough😊.
Disliked: However,the property manager/owner's pet NON-REFUNDABLE FEE was insane! I could easily understand IF it were a PRECAUTIONARY DEPOSIT where the fee was returned when the unit,upon inspection was in satisfactory condition. Perhaps,in the future,ADD the exact pet fee to the Reservation cost...I hope Sifting Sands would be fair and likewise charge EACH family a NON-REFUNDABLE CLEANING FEE PER Child/PER NIGHT!! ** I personally feel that,this being a BIG EVENT weekend featuring a Bassett Hound Parade with multiple guests bringing their Bassett Hound(s) to participate,it was a PRIME OPPORTUNITY for SOME of the local establishments to thicken the lining of their pockets.**Sorry,but I will NOT be returning to the Sifting Sands Motel for next year's event.

Liked: Booking was very easy. Staff was happy to see me. My room was cozy and the first time I had to turn on the heat. I will be staying here again in 2025.
Disliked: WIFI was not the best in this room but not always the case in other rooms which isn't a problem. Parking can be tight but stay between the lines and there is no problem.

We will not stay there...

Liked: Fairly close to beach
Disliked: Room was too small, much smaller than shown. Corners in every part of the room had dirt in the corner. The bathroom needed more cleaning and there was sand on the floor when we came in.

We enjoyed our stay!

Liked: We really loved our room. It was a little crowded. Staff and housekeepers were very helpful.
Disliked: I fell down the stairs due to being slippery. There should be some kind of slip-resistant surfaces. Very dangerous!! When we had to use the pullout sofa, the large coffee table, made it hard to maneuver around the living room at all.
