We had a great stay

Liked: Liked the cleanliness and care of property. Only limited by age of property and design of room. There was no room for a closet (so no ability to hang clothes). Like that it was manufactured wood flooring because we were able to take our dog. We asked for a queen bed, which we got, and it was comfortable, but there was only a couple of inches on either side of it because it was in an alcove that was only slightly larger than the bed. Location is great!

Excellent stay

Liked: We booked for two adults, the room meant for 4. It was cute. The bed was in a room by itself. Upon entering, you step into a space with a sofa, coffee table, fridge, kitchenette with real coffee pot, microwave and a toaster oven! It was super clean. The front desk, Phyllis, helped us checking. It was a last minute booking because our other hotel had a plumbing problem and could not let us stay there.This place had a pool but it was closed at this time of the year.The bathroom was a real tub, shower. It kinda felt really comfortable. Fell asleep immediately. Bed was comfy.They were generous with towels, unlike some Airbnbs I've been to. It was a great location too. About 5 minutes walk to the boardwalk. We plan on returning. The only bad thing was the wall near our bed looked like it was crumbling and need a fresh spackle job. The bedsheets were crisp white cotton.No complaints. Quiet. Clean. Friendly.
Disliked: The bedroom wall needs attention.

Clean and Good Location

Liked: The room was clean, and the front desk staff was very friendly. She helped us get more supplies that we needed. Motel is in a great location to the beach, boardwalk, shops, and restaurants.
Disliked: When I booked the room, it said 2 queen beds. We got 1 queen and bunk beds. The bathroom entrance was thru the bedroom. So the others had to come in our bedroom at night if they had to go. The temp was stuffy, so we put on the a/c at 60° thinking that would cool of the room, but it didn't get cooled off.

I would definitely stay here...

Liked: Sifting Sands has been in icon of Ocean city for a very long time. I just love everything about it. Has its own parking has its own pool. It was like a little efficiency. It was just perfect. Wish I could’ve stayed longer.
Disliked: It was a little cold at night I could not figure out the heat

Ripped off.

Liked: Quiet. Staff called to make sure I wasn't a juvenile.
Disliked: Mildewy odor, horrible furniture, filthy door mat, ant traps.
