Disliked: I paid for a big room and I received one smaller. I got a cheaper room. They told me they will refund me the difference, but that never happened. I'm not coming back.

Tropical feel and super close...

Liked: Very cute. You honestly feel like you’re on a tropical island with all the palm trees, greenery & sand.
Disliked: Room wasn’t cleaned daily, floors in our room were dirty, our feet were dirty just from walking around barefoot. We had to go to the office and ask for additional toilet paper due to the room not being checked daily in spite of the door hanger being placed on the door saying we would like the room cleaned. I hoped the floors would get cleaned but they never did. Bar opened 2 days before we got there, which was nice. Our last day apparently people were invited to the resort that weren’t staying there and it was taken over by drunks & partiers. Prior to that, it was a very relaxing environment.

Liked: The grounds were fantastic. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The suite was clean and quite comfortable.

Disliked: No pool bar open. Adjoining rooms. Noise from other unit was way too much. As if they were in the same room as us. Poor AC control. Either on and cold or off and hot.

We would never return.

Liked: It started with not having a key in the mail box at the office as we were told when we arrived at 11:30 at night due to a late flight schedule. Luckily the manager answered the number that was on the door. He stated we did not have reservations until we read proof from our phone. He found a room and walked us as we listened on our phone to directions to make our way to our room on what appeared to be deserted grounds. The next morning we had to move rooms bc they did not put us in their system. The pool was dirty. It was full of leaves, etc. The adult pool was old and run down. The handicap lift into the pool was all rusted and broke.. There was no activity or yoga as advertised. Most of the time it was pretty deserted for peak season. 2 out of the 3 days there was no fresh coffee or water on the office.needless to say I would not ever return. But Sarasota is beautiful and the Siesta beach is gorgeous!! We had a wonderful time but not at the Palms resort.
