Liked: Very clever check-in with out any human interaction... Located right where I wanted to be. Electronic check in and check out were flawless. Lots of hot water and perfect temperature regulation.
Disliked: I fought with the thermostat in my room 212 relentlessly - it would reset to something like 62 degrees regardless of where I set it - every few hours it was off again - some very cold nights for this 70 year old guy. I would have liked the hot tub to have worked . It was there, but couldn't get the jets to crank in.

Not what I expected.

Liked: Well appointed rooms, I liked the vibe. Close to town, which was nice.
Disliked: This is an OLD motel that hasn't been fully renovated. The Pool area, in my opinion, is a health hazard. It has black mold (or possibly mildew) on the ceilings and the ceiling itself needs major repair. We also found a couple of bugs in our bed so we left immediately. I also didn't like that there wasn't a live person at the front desk - kind of an odd feeling. I think they are halfway there to a great hotel. They've done a lot to make it nice, but it still feels old like it needs more work.

Liked: The staff was very helpful. Love the lobby/reception area. Warm and inviting love the fireplace. We did not have our fury family member with us. They had a welcoming for them water dish and biscuits. Coffee, water, and drinks in the lobby. Thanks again for everything.

Is it a hotel, or...

Liked: I liked how the hotel was pet friendly and near the village.
Disliked: I did not like; however, there was no wheelchair access to the top floor. I didn't like how there were open holes with black mold on the ceiling in the pool area that slowly dripped into the pool. Also had electric air purification right next to the pool/ hot tub on the ground! My room had a microwave that was unplugged, and the only way to plug it in was to unplug the ac unit. I had trouble locking my door, and the roof had access to the attic but no lock, which made me feel uncomfortable. Also, there was no phone in the bedroom.

Bring your ear plugs if...

Liked: The location was good.
Disliked: We could not sleep because of the noise from upstairs late night and early morning! Called the front desk but no one picked up the calls.
