Disappointing one and done

Liked: On the plus side, the hotel is in a great location and pricing is at the lower end for the area.
Disliked: The check-in process is tedious, you are interviewed like you are applying to the FBI. Lighting in the room is woefully inadequate, very dark and dim lighting. In the bathroom, there is a tiny wall mounted sink with no room for any toiletry articles. There is no closet, only a rod in the wall about 4 feet wide with a shelf and 5 hangers. There is no dresser, so your clothes have to stay in your bag, not good for a multiple day stay. The advertised “included breakfast” consists of a donut and cup of coffee, no other choices. And to top all that off, during the check-in process you are advised that there is an automatic undisclosed $50 fee, for room cleaning in addition to the advertised room rate, something that’s a first in all our years of traveling. And they advise you that it is not actually a room cleaning, just bed making and empty the trash can, also you must request the service to get it, but you can only ask every other day. Oh, and the restaurants on site are not open on Mondays, I was told it is because they are short on cooks.
