Exceptional
Liked: Excellent premises, spotless accommodation, friendly and welcoming proprietors.Breakfast was excellent and with different foods to choose from.Easy access to get to the hotel. Lovely for us and for our dog.
Disliked: Nothing to do with the accommodation but the weather could be better.Relating to the accommodation nothing to fault.

Beautiful Hotel
Liked: Its a beautiful location in Devon, The hotel is in immaculate condition with very comfortable rooms. We didn't use the BBQ or swimming pool as it was raining which we were looking forward too but Unfortunaly nothing can be done about that!. it was a beautiful hotel. Disliked · nothing
Disliked: One of the male staff I felt seemed rude to me. Whether it is because I am of a younger generation I am not sure but felt like I was being patronized which made me feel rather uncomfortable. The other member of staff was lovely and welcoming.

Incredible hospitality, you must try...
Liked: Our flight was delayed so we arrived after the restaurant closed. The owner and his wife made us welcome, even though they had closed for the night. They very kindly opened a bottle of wine and made us a wonderful dinner. Throughout the stay their hospitality was amazing. The owner would not let us walk to the bus stop, instead he very kindly drove us all the way to Sidmouth in his own car! They really could not have done more for us!
