MOULD in the bathroom
Liked: Bar
Disliked: MOULD in the bathroom - room 241No fridge in the roomStains on the floorVery outdated room interior Dinning area seats all stained, dirt and dust all around the coffee machineDinner had soup and sourdough bread on the menu, soup arrived and a classic 30p soft baked roll was served, when asked where is the sourdough bread - yeah we ran out - perhaps tell customers before? Despite being in the peak district, this hotel had no local walks due to the golf course restrictions

Avoid like the plague
Liked: Nothing
Disliked: It was not clean, the dinner was poor, breakfast cooked food lukewarm, cheap bread, drinks were a RIP off £35 for a bottle of very mediocre wine £20.05 for a flat pint of lager and a glass of wine (more expensive than both Wimbledon and Glastonbury). Attitude of reception staff appalling, room was not serviced, no toilet brush, no tissues, room was filthy, outdoor areas shoddy with weeds growing all over, dirty uncleared tables staff twice walked past uncleared dirty dishes on outdoor tables. Spa access extortionate price for a swim. This venue used to be not bad bordering on a reasonable 3 star but never a 4, now I wouldn't give it a single star. It is clear whoever owns this place is not interested in customer experience but only profit. Overall a disgrace.
