average stay for quite a...

Liked: breakfast buffet was great.
Disliked: The room felt a bit dated. Super kind to put the beds in for the children in the family room, but there is paint missing on the corner above one of the beds, potentially from children/ adults hitting their heads off the low angle sharp corner. Also the tv in the room didn't work at all. not a big issue as we got there late, but would have imagined it to be a quick check when cleaning room that it still works.

Wish i never stayed

Liked: The rear car park access from our room was helpful, cut our hike time in half trying to get to the very off shore car park.
Disliked: Despite being so far from local amenities and a town centre, i booked this location because it advertises that they have a pool available. Only to discover that the pool is apart of the spa only, and spa access is £50 per person, children not allowed (now this is very clearly stated on their website, but is not made clear enough on booking.com) So, if you’re looking for a place to enjoy a weekend with your children, don’t stay here. Children are not allowed access to the pool, they are also not allowed to walk on the grounds of the property, because that’s for golfing only. The most fun they will have is running around the car park. There are no amenities within miles of this place. Thank god we were travelling from London and really did just need a place to rest our head, if anyone is thinking to book this as a staycation with their children you will be incredibly disappointed £400 later. The family room is also very small and cramped, it was a standard sized double room with two beds shoved in. One of the poorest overpriced places i have ever stayed.
