A good position but needs...

Liked: The room I booked was very spacious and clean. The staff member I dealt with was friendly and helpful. Parking was available. This accommodation is in walking distance to quite a few restaurants and a main shopping area, and the National Aquarium of New Zealand is a five-minute walk.
Disliked: There were quite a few areas in the room that were old and in need of maintenance (missing grout on the spa next to the bed, cracked tiles, carpet well worn). The shower cubicle (plastic moulded) had no handle inside the pivot door to close it when inside. The bed was quite low, which could be an issue for older people. The room rate is probably reflective of the position rather than of the quality of room.
