Liked: Easy walking distance to promenade & town centre
Disliked: Room had seaview & balcony. Doors were locked to balcony as no railings. Only small fan light window could be opened,room was very hot. Foreign students took over hotel running up & down corridors at night banging on doors.

Just terrible

Liked: The staff all tried there best, and you cannot deny the location is great
Disliked: Firstly we upgraded to a sea view room but the one window was so badly blown you could not see out of it. It was like a frosted bathroom window, but filled with water and damp. The towels we were given were ripped. The pillows so old and flat Ive seen thicker pancakes. The floor although a dark carpet, was disgusting. My partner walked across it a couple of times with new white socks and after 2 minutes they were back. The shower was so small I could bearly fit and to make matters worse it had a curtain which was most unpleasant and stuck to you. Thus the tiny bathroom floods each time you use the shower (no heated towel rail of course). And finally we both spent the night scratching and I really hope it was not bed bugs.

Liked: Clean, comfortable, very accessible for our needs, great value for money.
Disliked: There were very noisy students staying there both nights - shouting in the corridor well after midnight and knocking on the doors of other rooms.
