One to return to.
Liked: The room was comfortable with beautiful decor and everything you need for your stay provided. The view from the private balcony was breathtaking. The food was second to non, and the hosts were helpful and friendly.
Disliked: There's nothing we could not like about Shipping Lanes. It was perfect for an affordable luxurious weekend away.

Excellent hotel, a gem of...
Liked: This is a lovely little hotel, just a 10 minute walk along the sea front to the center of town. Being slightly out clearly helps this gem of a place remain quiet and peaceful. The owners are chatty and polite. The room was immaculate with some lovely little touches here and there. I had a great sea view room. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Relaxing break
Liked: When we checked in we were advised that we had been given the room called Trafalgar which is on the 1st floor. It was amazing with a balcony but too cold to use that however they had 2 seats in the bay window which overlooked the sea. As we were there to spend time relaxing this was a lovely room and a great location. There is a car park however we managed to park almost outside the hotel which as my husband has ME was ideal. We were asked for a time for breakfast and our choice for an Full English, there is also a choice of cereal, yogurts and fruit juices. We would highly recommend this hotel and the hosts were lovely and friendly. What more can you ask for.
