Keep this hotel affordable. There...

Liked: Staying out of season at a bargain rate with an upgrade to a room with a Balcony, sea views & no other guests next to us.
Disliked: Drinking glasses should be made of glass not plastic.

Disappointing room for the price...

Beautiful location, friendly staff, website...

Liked: Beautiful location by the harbour and St Mawes is so pretty. The area is gorgeous and great for walking. St Mawes fort is worth a look. Coastline stunning. The staff were all very welcoming (particularly Alan) and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and reasonable. Breakfast was plentiful and fine (good for hungry teenagers)!
Disliked: Website not updated so had to pay extra than advertised for our dog. I know this is a small matter but this started a string of issues! The menu attached to the website was not correct so we had to find another restaurant. The Ship and Castle has a limited menu and they had a coach party arriving at the same time so it would’ve been extremely busy. We had brought our teenagers and so we wanted more choice. We ended up going to The Rising Sun which was superb. There was also a very dirty towel left on the back of our door. Sea view room has a view if you stand by the window and look down the side of the hotel. No parking but there are car parks nearby.
