Very Good - 4 out of 5

Margaret, Medford, visiting Moda Center Thu, 17 May 2018

Very pleasant; amenities in room were great; walking to Moda Center - very convenient.

Liked: Excellent location and front desk service.
Disliked: None.

Pleasant - 3 out of 5

L S, Kennewick, visiting Moda Center Mon, 26 January 2015

This is a small motel. Even though it has been "updated" you can still tell it's older. Hallways and entryways are narrow. The complimentary breakfast doesn't consist of much more than bagels, oatmeal, Danish and coffee. If all you need is a place to sleep it does the job. Perfect for anything at the Moda Center.

Liked: Close easy walk to the Moda Center. Very easy access to and from the Interstate.
Disliked: Very small bathroom.

Disappointing - 2 out of 5

Teresa, Portland Rose Garden, visiting Wonder Ballroom Mon, 11 November 2013

I won't return. Room smelled - was supposed to be smoke free.

Liked: Front desk was friendly; good coffee in breakfast room.
Disliked: Bed was hard. Room very cramped. Smallest bathroom ever. Breakfast was very cheap - just a bagel and an orange.

Liked: staff was kind, super sweet, loved having parking right there too, room was nice.
Disliked: the hairdryer was broke, homeless people seemed to be a problem though.

Liked: It?s close proximity to Moda Center. Also they allow pets in their facility.
Disliked: They couldn?t find our reservation and told us all the rooms were booked. It was a big bball event night, so wasn?t surprised. was able to sort it out for us and we eventually got into the type of room that we reserved. We noticed there is a homeless tent city directly behind the hotel now. This has been a change since our last visit. I would still book here for events at the Moda Center tho.

Pleasant stay

Liked: Price is good. Location is fine.
Disliked: The aircon had a smell, similarly the aircon vent is dirty. Back of the hotel has homeless people.

Issues Outside of the Hotels...

Liked: Staff was friendly and the rooms were clean.
Disliked: There was a small homeless camp right outside the hotel. They didn?t bother anyone that I saw, but still uncomfortable. Portland has a pretty serious homeless problem, especially in the downtown core. I?d probably stay elsewhere again if I was in the area until this is cleaned up. Tenting on the streets has been legalized in Portland with this major issue on hand. Nothing the hotel can really do unfortunately. The hotel was a 5 minute walk from the Moda Center/Veteran?s Memorial Coliseum which was a plus.

Disappointing - 2.3 out of 5

Jeremy Fri, 6 December 2019

Location?Everything else, not so much.

Liked: It was close to the Moda Center. The bed wasn't horrible.
Disliked: The facility was dirty and in disrepair, and that was before we got to the room. The room itself was dirty, the furniture was so bad we only sat on the bed, there were cigarette burns and stains on the curtains, mold in the shower, and stains from who knows what on the bathroom walls.

Wouldn?t stay again

Liked: Close to the Moda center
Disliked: Dirty, front desk staff clearly doesn?t care about their job, thin walls, and pillows that feel as if they?re made of cement.

Enjoyed our stay

Liked: Pros: good location I liked that the transit system was close by ; huge comfortable bed ; affordable price for 4 nights ; friendly staff; clean room and enough towels
Disliked: Cons: water pressure in the shower was weak; blow dryer didn't work ; the continental breakfast needs more options
