Liked: Staff are lovely and the room was spotless and very comfortable. The evening meal was absolutely delicious, expensive but nice and great waiting staff. I only stay here over the winter months (when working in the area) as the summer rates are so high!
Disliked: Room and food

Superb stay in a beautiful...

Liked: Booked a classic double room but got upgraded to a superior room overlooking the loch. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent. Good selection for breakfast and it was all nicely cooked.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Wonderful lodge in a fabulous location. Saw seals and heard owls. Room was comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. We didn’t have supper at the lodge but came back and had a whisky from the bar (very well stocked) and sat in one of the two relaxing rooms which was lovely.
Disliked: A small issue with our bathroom and tv but resolved by the team.

Liked: Lovely decor of the hotel, keeping its original features and views from the lounges, was exceptional. Big bedrooms and bathrooms, clean throughout. The bathroom had lovely underfloor heating, plus large fluffy towels, much to my partners liking.
Disliked: The room we were in was very draughty. However, it was gusting 60-70mph outside, which can't be helped.

Liked: Amazing location! We stopped here whilst travelling the NC500 on our honeymoon. Unfortunately, it was a flying visit, and we want to come back to explore the area. Our room had amazing views of the bay and we saw seals. The evening meal and breakfast were lovely. We also stayed at their sister hotel Forss House which was also lovely, they had amazing food!

Liked: Stunning location and beautiful lodge on the loch edge . Wonderful views of the landscape and the local seals .
Disliked: Slightly limited evening meal options in terms of price .
