Liked: Beautiful place indoors and out, great location, great beer and superb breakfast, excellent beer garden, friendly professional staff.
Disliked: I know this can't be helped but there was a pretty bad smell from the little glen over the way, it was a hot humid August day and there is obviously some kind of effluent running through there so the raw sewage aroma wasn't great. Also, someone was smoking right under our room in the middle of the night and fumigated the place. Bank holiday weekend I know but a little pricey for a pretty small room, paid £170 for one night.

Liked: The location was lovely and the breakfast was mostly excellent. Staff were lovely and very helpful
Disliked: The gluten free bread at breakfast was terrible,- there's a lot of good makes out there, so please find one! The place as a whole did feel a bit raggy round the edges and at £215 for bed and breakfast we didn't feel it was great value for money

Liked: Location, staff, and food all 1st class Booked as a stopover for The Piece Hall but so much more than that . It is a country location but only 3 miles from Halifax. Ubers a plenty so there is no problem with transport.Hotel immaculate with lots of character and the food and service absolutely top notch.We will definitely go back ..
