Liked: Although I don't usually give negative reviews, this was an unpleasant experience. The room was filled with dust and the shower was disgusting. We couldn't take a shower at all. The toilet seat was unstable, as there was no bathroom attached to the bedroom. You have to walk down the stairs to go to the toilet. Most importantly, the window had a non-locking system so that anyone could open it from the outside. The ceiling fan didn't work. They provided us with a small table fan, but it was very dirty. It's highly advisable not to choose this hotel at all.

Good as a base to...

Liked: The beds were comfortable and we had an ensuite bathroom. Coffee/tea making facilities in the room and a TV. We also had somewhere to hang our clothes. Shower had good pressure and was nice and hot. Ceiling fan was a godsend given the humid weather. There was a great little cafe across the road for breakfast.
Disliked: Could have been a little cleaner, old sweets left behind the curtain, curtains slightly hanging off the rail. Mirrors weren't in a practical place for drying hair or putting makeup on. One light didn't have a light bulb.
