Liked: Loved the decor and ambience of the hotel. Room was great and our bed later and comfortable.
Disliked: Travel cot mattress for little one was really hard and had to put pillows on top to make more comfortable. Bit tricky access with a buggy. Husband’s poached fish at breakfast was not very nice although he was offered an alternative.

Liked: Spacious room (22) and parking right outside the cottage room for my mum who has mobility difficulties.Comfy bedsCosy
Disliked: Quite a few stairs up to the actual hotel meant I didn't take mum in to the main hotel. We only stayed one night to visit my daughter so we ate out in the evening and for breakfast so it didn't matter too much.It would be lovely inside though for those not concerned by stairs.

Liked: It was a trip for ,y daughters' birthday. She wanted to stay in a Scottish castle. She was supremely pleased! The staff treated her like a princess!
Disliked: The outer rooms are near the street and we could hear a lot of road noise. The second part of our stay was in the main building and was perfect. No noise at all.
