Liked: Hotel closed when we arrived !! Had to move to another one !

Dated hotel in need of...

Liked: Our room was freezing cold on arrival and the heating control hanging off the wall. We turned it up and went out for dinner but room was still freezing on return so we reported it to reception. Someone was sent to our room within half an hour but sadly by this time we couldn’t wait to see if the reset they did had worked as we needed to get to bed for an early flight the next day. We were brought a heater to help warm the room up which helped a little but not ideal. We were told the hotel was full so could not be moved. Simple checks could have avoided this issue. TV kept resetting and retuning too which left us with no channels being found. Again, clearly an issue with the TV which hadn’t been checked.In summary, very dated hotel in desperate need of a face lift, paper coming off walls in areas and in general very tatty.
