Would not stay at the...

Liked: Beautiful hotel.
Disliked: Sadly the beautiful hotel was not matched with the attitude of the staff! Basically if you are of “ ethnic minority”, do not waste your money staying here as you are looked at as less that! My partner and I stayed her as our first couples get away since our son. Prior to arrival I contracted the hotel to inform them of this special occasion and requested something a little special. They offer a champagne list starting at €90, which is fine, nothing in the world is free! Upon arrival at checkin I mentioned it to the lady, she was really kind( unfortunately I didn’t get her name). You could tell she wanted to help, she spoke in France to the lady next to her, I can only guess was either the supervisor or manager. That lady was incredible rude! We couldn’t understand but judging by her body language she was not happy with what the junior member of staff was asking, which I can only guess was if she could upgrade us. After some back and forth the manager agreed to a “upgrade”, a city view room, honestly the whole experience left us feeling very unwelcome.At checkout we were challenged by a member of staff, as the night before we ordered pizza and the pizza was very cold and undercooked. We went downstairs to the receptionist and Michael informed us said there was an issue with the oven and the pizzas would be removed from our bills. However, at checkout had not been removed so when I questioned this with the man ( Adrien ) at the desk he questioned why it took us 45 minutes to inform the hotel that the pizzas were cold after a lot of back, I asked Adrien if he is insinuating that we were lying to which he denied with a smack on his face and a lot of attitude in his body language and said that we were responsible for paying these charges. We then asked him to phone Michael who agreed that they would be removed once he had confirmation from Michael, Adrien decided to remove the pizza from the bill and did not issue us with an apology.
