The staff was very attentive and professional. Our room was on the Club Level which included complimentary cocktail hour and breakfast. The room was much larger than expected with a sitting area and huge bathroom. We were very pleased with our stay.
Liked: Very large room.

Disliked: Not sufficient linens in the room for 2 people and the make up mirror was inoperative. The room was worn looking and certainly needed updating.

It was good.
Liked: I liked how convenient the location was from everything we visited. The lobby area and halls were clean. Our room was also clean.
Disliked: The bathroom was very outdated. Oleatha could not figure out if she “liked” us or not. Upon arrival, she spoke over us when we were trying to explain to her that I called twice to speak to someone about payment methods. I was told your facility accepted cash and credit cards therefore we brought cash. She looked at me as if she did not agree and as if I were lying and she didn’t know if this was true or not. She eventually accepted the cash payment with no hesitation when it was in her hands. The next day, we did not need room service because we are very clean people and make our beds daily however we did need new towels because we don’t like using the same towel multiple times. When we entered the hotel from our outing, we inquired about receiving new towels and Oleatha stated, “don’t you already have towels in your room?”. There was an awkward pause and my friend that accompanied me on the trip was very upset. I also stated that we did not know there was a limit on towels to use per day or if we had to keep the same towels our entire stay. I am a valued member of Marriott Bonvoy program. My aunt also is a division manager in STL for Marriott hotels. Marriott is always my first choice however, I did not get that welcoming feel from Oleatha. But, the ladies that were at check out were really sweet and communicative! I did not catch their names but they were really sweet!

Not recommended.
Liked: Only highlight was the smiling, friendly server at breakfast. She gets a 10.
Disliked: Mildew smelling carpet and bedding. Stains on the towels. My reservation with booking.com stated breakfast included but the desk manager at checkout stated I would be charged regardless and rudely said to take it up with booking.com although I showed her my reservation information she wouldn’t acknowledge it. I just don’t think that would be the first time that could have happened there. Just so you are aware. I stayed here a year ago for a weekend convention when there was no air conditioning and people had soggy carpeting and the room keys didn’t work. Earlier I was told renovations were complete but today was told they are ongoing.
