Overlooking Edinburgh Castle the Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa is located in the financial district next to the West End business and entertainment area and a five-minute walk from Princes Street 1640 feet from Edinburgh Castle. The luxurious elegant rooms provide free wireless Internet access 24-hour room service interactive satellite flat-screen TV small sitting areas and bathrooms with a separate bath and walk-in shower. The large air-conditioned rooms have beautiful furnishings and mood lighting. At One Spa guests can enjoy complimentary use of the 19-yard swimming pool gym and fitness studios and can include in a variety of beauty and spa treatments during their stay (must be booked prior to arrival). The unique and recently renovated Thermal Suite and rooftop Hydropool experiences known as Escape at One can be enjoyed at a preferential rate. Enjoyable Birthday , my first...

Liked: Very central & good location for shops & site, welcoming reception staff & so informative . Smart , smiling staff create a fantastic first impression which we found lovely and engaging.
Disliked: Spa wasn’t as good as expected . Also additional cost to use rooftop spa was a disappointment considering the room rate for the overnight. When booking I mentioned it was for a birthday . However no recognition in room of this & i have stayed at other hotels where they leave a token gesture. Why ask on your booking and then no recognition ?

Wonderful experience!

Liked: Everything was amazing! Fantastic hotel! Super service from all staff made you feel special and welcome, facilities (spa, pool and restaurant) we're amazing! The location of the hotel aswell was great for all of the activities we had planned 10/10 would recommend.We will definitely be back!!
Disliked: Nothing everything was spot on!

Great location, not good value...

Liked: Great central location. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff
Disliked: The bathroom was not private enough with some glass doors. Toilet blocked twice. Breakfast was overpriced and soggy.
