Sheraton Grand Chicago

We came up for a family gathering. While we were the only ones at The Sheraton, we were very pleased with our accommodation and amenities.

Liked: Check in was quick, easy and very friendly staff. The room was very clean and nice. The hotel location was excellent for walking.
Disliked: Nothing.

Superb

Liked: The breakfast is amazing!
Disliked: We stayed for 2 nights. Nobody came to clean our room after the first night (We did not put the "Do not disturb" on you door. We would have appreciated this.

Overall, great.

Liked: The hotel is in a great location, we had a nice room, and the view of the river and lake was amazing.
Disliked: The refrigerator was a beverage refrigerator and was not plugged in. Very weird. Why even have that in the room? We would have appreciated a functioning small refrigerator.

Disliked: No refrigerator in the room. Will not stay there again.

It was a uneven experience...

Liked: I like the breakfast it was good the staff was nice and friendly. I like the multiple elevators and gym there too.
Disliked: I didn’t like the smell of my room when I first got there it smelled really bad. I didn’t like the shower its just open it does close to it was cold while showering and I didn’t like they didn’t send me deposit back I didn’t even smoke in the room I hate smoking.

Overall it was good.

Disliked: Food on breakfast buffet was expensive and cold. But,the,staff was awesome.

Liked: The location was what we needed for our trip; otherwise, I would not have chosen this hotel.
Disliked: Staff response to concerns. Cost of breakfast is ridiculous. Food options in hotel are very limited.
