Superb
Liked: Overall the hotel was very clean. All the employees were extremely helpful and nice. We were even allowed to borrow a wheelchair out of storage to help my sister in law get around.
Disliked: There was a big stain on the carpet beside the bed.

A well-positioned, comfortable room, providing...
Liked: It was well positioned, both in relation to the falls and the tourist area.
Disliked: 1. The parking. It was unclear where you were able to park your car to unload on arrival. There was no signage to help drivers arriving at the hotel.2. The valet parking - it was overpriced and the hotel reception and concierge staff seemed uninterested to assist in dealing with any parking issues. I was asked to talk directly to the guest services staff outside. This is not what I expect from a good quality hotel.3. The hotel tried to charge me twice for my stay. I made my booking via Booking.com and paid for my stay upfront 2 weeks before my stay. On my day of departure I was sent an email and pdf attachment confirming my bill, which had already been charged to my mastercard. This bill did not take account of the fact that I had arranged and paid for my stay via Booking.com. I raised this at check-out and after some reluctance to accept my explanation of pre-payment, I produced my Booking.com payment confirmation. It then took some 10 minutes before the receptionist confirmed that I had indeed paid for my stay in advance, making the excuse that from their system it wasn't obvious that a third party had been involved in my booking. The receptionist issued me with a different final bill which only included the valet parking charges. I'm sorry but this is just not good enough! Furthermore, as I write this review, my mastercard account still shows an incorrect pending charge which includes payment for the room. I will check this again tomorrow to see if the amended charge comes through and the incorrect charge is removed. I have noted from Tripadvisor that I am not the first to experience this treatment with this hotel. This all needs to be sorted out by Booking.com and Marriot!

The best view
Liked: We had a Fallsview room with the ideal location. Slept with the sound of the falls and the most awesome view of the fireworks. The hotel is within a short walk to the falls and area activities. We paid for the buffet breakfast and that was really good as well. Our housekeeper Dana was very helpful and friendly. Thank you!
Disliked: I am surprised that parking is not included for hotel guests as well as the breakfast. We could also not get a cart to bring our bags down without having a bellhop. That is the only reason we gave it an 8.

Overall my room the view...
Liked: Breakfast was good
Disliked: I explained to the concierge we were on our honeymoon and would like to receive whatever compliments the hotel had to offer newly weds . I was promised that something would come to our room but we got nothing
