Disliked: I’m staying in a guest room for six days during our stay at your hotel, and unfortunately, it has not been a pleasant experience.First, the AC was out in 90-degree weather from our second night through the afternoon of the third day. We were told the entire building was affected. After waiting a couple of hours, we called again and were informed it was still being fixed. We had to continue following up ourselves, rather than receiving proactive communication or any offer of compensation for the inconvenience.Second, on the fourth night, we forgot to tip housekeeping, and the next morning, our alarm was mysteriously set to go off starting at 1:00 AM, repeating every 1 hour and disrupting our sleep until 4:00 AM when we turned it off. This did not feel coincidental and was very unsettling.Third, when I requested water for the room, I was told we are only allowed one bottle of water per day—even though there are two guests staying in the room. The staff member repeated this policy when handing me the water, in a tone that felt patronizing. I’m a paying guest, not a child, and I expect to be treated with respect.Additionally, the ice machine room was locked until the third day, and once accessible, the machine wasn’t even functioning.Finally, on the morning of checkout, housekeeping began knocking on our door at 8:00 AM and entered the room without permission. We were shocked to see someone walk in unannounced and had to ask her to come back later. This is highly inappropriate and left us feeling rushed and disrespected.Overall, I’m extremely disappointed with the experience. We came to LA expecting to relax, but instead, our stay was filled with disruptions and poor service.
