Sheraton Brooklyn New York Hotel

Liked: The restaurant and bar were fabulous, as were the staff (that's you Marie).
Disliked: The location of the hotel. Nothing interesting nearby.

There was a lot of confusion around the check-in desk. Besides that, the rest of the stay was enjoyable.

Liked: Room was clean and up-to-date.
Disliked: Very disorganized at check in.

We booked the Sheraton because we had tickets to a concert at the Barclays Center. Wish the hotel was closer - says within walking distance, however since we were unfamiliar with the neighborhood had to use car service. Car service was convenient when leaving the hotel but a little pricey for such a short drive. Overall, a great hotel - very clean and staff was friendly. Highly recommend, just be prepared to pay for car service if you are looking to venture away from hotel.

We stayed on 12/8/12 for The Rolling Stones concert. Hotel was neat and clean and the staff was very freindly. From Johan (out front), Christian (front desk), Ely (bar), Armando (restaurant manager) and others, everyone made us feel welcome. Good food too. I would definitely go back!

The hotel staff was great!...

Disliked: Breakfast. Terrible. Self service and poorly prepared. And no one pointed out a perfectly good coffee and pastry shop that was practically in the hotel lobby as an alternative to the terrible restaurant breakfast.

Liked: The room was clean and well-maintained, with good housekeeping service throughout the stay. The location was also very convenient, with easy access to the metro
Disliked: There was no introduction to the hotel facilities upon arrival. The reception was poor and unwelcoming. Additionally, there were no visible efforts toward sustainability.

Liked: It was clean and the location was good, the adjacent neighborhood is not great but the commute to more central areas is easy
Disliked: Not a bad property per se, but its a sheraton/marriott hotel so it could have been better- not great decoration etc. For a 4 star hotel its need of an urgent modernisation and upgrade

Overall, my stay was good!

Liked: I stay at this hotel every year when I come to New York. The location is perfect for where I need to go and what I need to do while visiting New York. I will continue to stay at this property in the future.
Disliked: There were only two issues that I had. Firstly, I asked for change on several occasions so that I could tip the housekeeper. To my supprise, the Front Desk did not have change. I found this to be rediculous. Secondly, the hotel ran out of bottled water one day which was frustrating.
