Liked: Staff was great and under Corona restrictions they still did a wonderful job.
Disliked: The room was a bit small and dated for the price

Disliked: The room was small the floors and bathroom needed updating but perfect for a 1 night get away

Pleasant stay.

Liked: Great location, clean hotel and friendly staff.
Disliked: The garden terrace was being painted so we were unable to use that area.

Delicious pastries- comfy bed with clean white linens!

Liked: The pastries offered at breakfast were outstanding!!!! The bed was very comfortable and clean- not fond of the large foam pillows- glad we brought our own. The rug was soft underfoot. Didn't care for the "lobby" decor; but the ceiling fixtures and the bar areas were lovely. Loved the framed prints and hallway decor. The outside was charming and very quaint. As we were leaving, staff was very kind and filled our travel containers with ice and water as requested.
Disliked: There was NOT a grab bar in the tub shower. Hard to put toiletries in bathroom as it had a pedestal sink. The hot water was turned up WAY too high and almost burned my hand. The room had a distinct perfume odor. There was not an alarm or clock radio. Why did I have to sign a pool waiver???? Really- we were not planning on swimming in late September!

Shelter Island House Great Place to Stay!

Liked: The staff were amazing. The hotel is clean. Would definitely recommend.
Disliked: Only one thing the bed unfortunately wasn't comfortable it looked amazing. Other then that loved everything about this hotel.
