Lovely hotel, good value for...

Liked: Hotel location is superb- one block away from Ocean Drive. Took less than 5 mins to be on the beach. Hotel exterior is lovely and the hotel is clean and tidy. The room booked had 2 double beds and space was tight but expected. The bathroom was a good size as was the wardrobe. Good mini fridge with reasonable drinks prices, but 7/11 and other convenience stores / markets were less than a few minutes walk away. Staff were incredibly helpful and overall had a great stay.
Disliked: The hotel is stunning and has made good use of original features such as marble in the bathrooms- but it means there is no extractor fan in the room- this made the room very humid after showering and when we came home at night the bedding felt a little damp.

Hotel is quite old and...

Liked: The location is great, the staff is attentive.
Disliked: There is no elevator. The room is so narrow that the door hits the bed when it opens. The rooms are not designed for 4 people. There is no space to turn around! The first room was much larger than the second, although we took the same rooms with 2 standard beds. There was no closet in our room, no place to put a suitcase! Although there was a closet in the other room. Very interesting.
