Appalling, never again! Rather sleep...

Disliked: Nothing in room! Room with kitchen! Not a pot or plate, no cups etc! No towels! Being used to store a washing machine ! Breakfast was almost vegan! Bread had green mold!

Liked: It was very close to Addenbrookes, my husband had just had a kidney transplant and I needed somewhere to stay quickly, the staff were amazing they are so friendly, I have now stayed there on 3 occasions
Disliked: No tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

Value for money

Liked: It was value for money. Breakfast was good.
Disliked: Perhaps the staff could be more courteous.

Some reviews are spiteful

Liked: Reading the reviews on Tripadviser I expected the worst. But I had a pleasant stay. On suite shower room with plenty of hot water worked well. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking at the rear of the property. Yes the rooms need refurbishing but this is a competitively priced room. The shared kitchen had 2 kettles that need a descale urgently. But the Lodge enjoys a community spirit among guests. Food 5 minutes walk away is a garden centre with a lovely cafe or a Co Op store is 10 minutes away. Just turn left out of the lodge.
Disliked: Kettles need descaling and some windows had blown and need replacing.
