Liked: The staff who checked us in was super friendly and let us know what is open around in the area in case we wanted to grab a bite to eat. She also let us know that we can get a small discount at the restaurant across the street if we let them know we are staying here. We were welcomed to walk around the property or to check out the fire pits. The rooms were clean and definitely had a cabin feel which I love. The bathrooms were nice, water pressure and heat were good too. The room had a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in the room which definitely came in handy. I love that there was a small dinette table in the room! It kind felt like a cozy mini home.
Disliked: The hotel rooms rooms were quaint and rustic, which is super cute, but we did have a small issue with mosquitoes in the room and pretty big/thick spider on the side of the bed. I totally understand we are up in the woods and thankfully, we had bug spray with us. My family that stayed with me couldn't quite get some good sleep after that. I knocked out like a rock.

Liked: the state of the room was deplorable- beings were broken, the door was too short allowing noise and light into the room, carpet was dirtyManager was initially nice until I communicated my complaints, I requested a reimbursement of my last day, this was declined. after he discussed this with his management, they offered $100. after over a month and numerous calls to the manager, I have yet to receive it.
