Liked: We were told that we can use pool anytime before pool closes by the gentle men in the reception but when we were about to go to use the pool the another guy receptionist told us that there was private lesson going on in the hotel pool .only time we would be able to use was after 7 pm or the next day he advised .Very disappointed .whole of the pool was given to only two people for private lesson and we were denied entry .slippers aren’t provided in the room if you want one .it needs to be bought from the receptionist which the lady she don’t knows the price of slippers and she said that she needs to check to her manager about the price and we were left there without any slipper for bathroom .

Disliked: Shower over bath very old, kept on going from very hot to freezing cold. Also no where to put your shampoo etc. pillows very uncomfortable.

Liked: It was a spacious hotel, the room had all your necessary amenities. It was fantastic that the hotel had a pool, for the most part we had it to ourselves. The view from the dining room at breakfast is fantastic, almost panoramic views of the bay. In my opinion it was a shame that they have such heavy curtains up (they have blinds as well) it would really make the most of the amazing view they have in their breakfast room if the curtains were removed. The hotel is a great location to visit Shanklin Chine which is very beautifully lit up at night!
Disliked: We had a problem with the shower in our room which didn't work properly, and nearly scalded my partner. The staff couldn't resolve the issue on the night as their was no maintenance staff around at that point but they were quick to provide us with another room key. We didn't move into the room as we were only staying the one night and had already unpacked but it meant we at least had access to a functioning shower.
