Reasonable.

Liked: Good location as it is walking distance to The Rocks and Circular Quay. Front staff is very friendly. Very kind to offer us late check out which we appreciate.
Disliked: At 9am in the morning a hospitality staff opened the door while we were still asleep as he wanted to clean the room. After 15 mins another staff knocked on the door saying he was told that the room is already vacant and needs cleaning. I am sure there was a bit of miscommunication but it was a bit disappointing because it interrupted our sleep.

Liked: Location, cleanliness, staff, parking, restaurant, bar, views.Wonderful staff in every area of the hotel. Jennifer at reception desk was genuinely warm, capable & exceptional.
Disliked: Wish it was not quite so expensive. It limits how often we can visit.

Fabulous, it’s our second time...

Liked: The location is fantastic, and the view of the two landmarks is incredible. They provided use of umbrellas for free, which was fantastic as there was some heavy rain.
Disliked: The surcharge over the weekend seemed unnecessary, it made the price of drinks exceptionally expensive.

Nice hotel to stay and...

Liked: The lounge access offering is a great treat for those who want to enjoy their stay at the Shangri-La. The Darling Harbour views were amazing, with lots of space within the room.
Disliked: We stayed at the Shangri-La for a birthday celebration, but did not receive any on-the-ground recognition for the birthday, yet it was highlighted throughout the communications with the reservations team prior to the stay, and they even offered to add a little extra to the room, but we did not receive anything. It was disappointing to have this unique experience booked, but no show on their end during the stay. We also were able to stay on Level 31, but still could hear the traffic on the motorway below. If you were staying below this level, I would presume the noise from the motorway would have been louder for these rooms.
