Charming rooms, good price, and...

Liked: The room was as quaint as we expected from the online photos. It was a historic "Old Florida" motel. They gave us the room that still has the only original bathtub and did not charge us more for it. It is located near old downtown, so there are lots of restaurants and businesses in walking distance.
Disliked: The electronic room key had a mind of its own and would lock and unlock when you didn't want it to. The TV did not work when we arrived, and it took the manager about a half hour to reprogram it. He did not apologize for the inconvenience. There is rack for hanging clothes, but no hangers. The manager brought over a couple of his own, but seemed to think we were being unreasonable to expect the room to have them. Finally, a pipe broke, leaving the hotel with no water: no sink, no shower, no flushing toilet. The manager could not give us a timeframe for when it would be repaired. When we asked to be refunded for the last night, he did so, but he waited for us to ask instead of offering. He never apologized for the inconvenience.

Liked: The staff is friendly
Disliked: Bad location with loud traffic. Room had a very bad cigarette smell and everything was under a layer of dust. Shower head was legitimately 5 feet tall and there would have been no way for my 6’1 boyfriend to wash his hair without sitting down in the shower. Stay was supposed to include wifi and tv but neither worked. We were so uncomfortable after the first night that we ended up staying somewhere else. Unfortunately the stay was not refundable. The only decent thing about this place was the nice guy at the front desk who was very friendly.

Fun place to stay.

Liked: The location was great. It was walking distance to the historic downtown and many restaurants. We slept really well. The shower was terrific.
Disliked: The room was a little small, but really all you needed.
