Liked: Proprietor was very friendly and accommodating. I booked the family room and was pleased to see a fridge, microwave and small table with chairs. Coffee was available in the morning. Parking was convenient. The drive to Stratford was quite short and very straightforward.
Disliked: During the Festival, Stratford is a very expensive place to stay, therefore it seemed expensive for an older property. However, other prices I saw were also high, so the price was likely in line with the market.

Liked: No breakfast included, which I found a little disappointing. I was happy about the coffee station and cookies though.
Disliked: The clicking light in the bathroom, when you turn it on. Really makes you feel like you're in some sort of a sketchy cell.

Liked: Friendly reception. Good information provide upon registering. Room was clean as were sheets and towels. Warm day and air had been turned up for our comfort. Simple but quaint!
Disliked: We had adjoining room and you could hear TV from other room once ours was off. But respectful and not so loud as to stop us from sleeping. Would return.

Adequate accommodations for an overnight...

Liked: We were upgraded from a regular queen room to a suite that could sleep 5-6. and that wsa a nice surprise. The water pressure was fantastic in the shower and the air conditioning (during a heat wave) was wonderful. The room could have been cleaner and the furnishings need updating, but the room was clean enough for our needs. The owners were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and very pleasant to deal with.
Disliked: The rooms were dated in terms of furnishings and bedding. There were many air fresheners in the hallways which, while I didn't mind the scent, were a little too much, even for me.
