An all around excellent experience.

Liked: Beautiful hotel and grounds. Excellent service. Perfect for Summer Music Festival. Wonderful restaurant.
Disliked: Can’t think of anything we did not like.

We loved our room and...

Liked: The location was great, the staff was very helpful and friendly, and the building interior was lovely. The room was beautiful, and it was very quiet and peaceful. Loved being on the golf course and watching the daily groom first thing every morning! It was great having bottled water in the room too.
Disliked: The bathroom door slammed into the wall by the toilet; a doorstop of some sort would be helpful. The grits at breakfast weren't good (and we generally love grits). The rest of breakfast was fine.

Beautiful location!

Liked: It’s a stunning building in a beautiful location! Clean and wonderful. One of the most charming places we have visited.
Disliked: The staff. We had expected a bit more hospitality here in Tennessee. The male bartender was less than kind. The front desk attendant at check in seemed bothered that we were checking in. Very out of place for such a wonderful place!But overall stay was lovely!
