Liked: Excellent smart tv, cosy feel
Disliked: Hobs in the kitchen broken and we were informed they’d been broken for over a year. Headboard on the bed would make it more comfortable.

Liked: Very friendly staff and clean rooms. The food at the pub was delicious and they have specials most nights.
Disliked: Shared bathrooms can be tricky at times, but it's what you can expect for a pub room.

Overall i enjoy my stay...

Liked: The hotel is located at carrington, cowper street (industrial area) and it's a 20mins walk to newcastle interchange. The hotel is above a bar and the check in counter is at the bar as well. The staff is friendly and helpful in addressing my request (extra pillow, wifi connection issue etc). The room is clean with utensils, microwave, water boiler provided). The only thing missing was a hanging rack to hang clothes and there is no hairdryer. The shared bathroom is clean with washing machine and dryer provided. Overall stay is very comfortable for couple or solo travellers. Thou transport can be a bit of a hassle as the hotel is not located on the main street (Hannell street). I stayed at newcastle and travel up north to Stephen port and the journey is very long (took about 2 hours via public transport) and the bus only operates 1 hr per trip. It would be advisable to rent a car or to stay nearer to newcastle airport area to reduce travel time.
