Three members of our families met at the hotel for the funeral service - one from Manitoba, one from Lethbridge and my husband and I from B.C. I use a walker and as we had no car; we had counted on the offered shuttle service. As the hotel has no dining room, we'd planned to eat at the casino. We were extremely disappointed in our stay.

Liked: The morning breakfast.
Disliked: Hotel rates in US dollars; no shuttle service.

Disliked: We booked our stay online. When we got there, they tried to charge me again for the room. We got it sorted out and I proved to them I had paid in full already. When morning came, there was an invoice under the door that said we still owed $175 for the room. The supervisor at the front desk made it a hassle for us to try and prove again that we had paid. The only thing is, we paid $229 for the room online. The room was only worth $175 in their records. They tried to charge us twice for something we had paid significantly higher for. Because of having to prove to them that we had indeed paid, we were late for our event across the way and did not have time for their breakfast.

Can't say enough about the front desk staff - very pleasant and helpful. The room was very clean and spacious. The morning breakfast was fantastic - lots of food, both hot and cold, and the tables were kept very clean with the wait staff always there for anything you needed. We will definitely make this our go to place in Calgary.

Good budget option in Calgary

Liked: Friendly and helpful reception staff, quick and easy check in. Nice spacious room with a mini fridge and aircon. Great water pressure in the shower. Used the gym which was fine however fairly small and limited equipment. Nice large pool and waterslide area.
Disliked: Temperature control with the aircon was hard to maintain a steady room temp, felt too cool or slightly too warm. Room is a bit dated and mattress is worn down, could benefit from upgrading. Hardly any plugs in the room as well.

Liked: Rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable where we got a good night's rest. The pool and slide were enjoyed by my kid. Having breakfast included was convenient.
Disliked: The breakfast needed more vegetarian options like more fresh berries, yogurt, granola, etc. even having cheese and tomato to put with the eggs would have been a great option.

Liked: Ambience was quite and smooth process.,
Disliked: I was offered a free Cot,but didn't provided. Which was disappointed,but they were Right with two queen beds there is no space for cot place.

Liked: The room was clean, the breakfast was very good and lots of variety, we had bottles of water in our room. The king size was comfortable and we had lots of pillows for the 3 of us. We had a 2 bedroom 3 bed room with a kitchen table and a little kitchenette. We also had 2 televisions.
Disliked: We only had 1 bath towel, hand and face cloth for 3 people. We called reception and they brought us up more of what we needed immediately. We had a king size bed and 2 single beds, the singles were actually bunk beds taken apart. It was very uncomfortable for an adult to sleep on.
