Liked: Beautiful spaces and super cool people. The breakfast was lovely. Lots of good coffee. Excellent bathroom and shower, modern heat pump, on-demand hot water and a beautiful hot tub and rooftop. The location was also great with lots of parking and an easy walk to lots of music and food and fun. We will definitely stay again. Thanks.

Life in the Big Easy
Liked: To quote the old advert for wood sealant, Serenity at the Marigny does exactly what it says on the tin. It's a lovely, calm place to say, on the edge of N'walins' French Quarter, being both close to the action and distant enough (on the old side of Esplanade Avenue) to give some calm and quiet. The room is comfortable, the shower excellent, and access to an upstairs lounge (with great sofa), roof terrace and hot-tub are a real boon. Ms Sue made a lovely breakfast every morning, and was so friendly and nice to talk to. NOLA is an incredible experience, and staying here was an integral part of that. Really nice coffee shop (the Ayu Bakehouse) is just around the corner on Frenchman Street, too!
Disliked: A slight case of green eye over the other rooms with larger bedrooms, especially as we were practically the only occupants for the first night or two, but there you go. Into every life, some rain must fall...

Liked: An absolutely fantastic stay here. Great location, quiet, very comfortable bed and lovely breakfast provided by Daphne. I believe there are 5 rooms in total so it's not a hotel, more like a relaxed bed and breakfast. We had access to the jacuzzi and sauna on the top floor and that was a great bonus. If you'd like to avoid the chaos of the French Quarter but still be in walking distance this is perfect. Thank you Daphne!

Relaxing and wonderful
Liked: Beautiful home and delicious breakfast. I was there during a hurricane but even still the host Daphne tried to make it as comfortable as possible. Ms Sue made a delicious breakfast. There is not any staff that stays on site which was a little different for me.
Disliked: No on-site person.
