Serendipity House

Great base for the night,...

Liked: Good location, felt safe. Room was clean and comfortable, everything provided as expected. Breakfast was lovely.
Disliked: Some repairs needed in bedroom 3 and the bathroom.

Not worth the money you...

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: Pictures can be deceptive. I booked the property looking at the pictures. In the pictures the B&B looked nice and well kept. However, reality was different. The bathroom was very old and the shower pipe was leaking. The bathroom was very very old and needs major renovation. The rooms just about okay. Breakfast is nothing to talk about. A very basic place to stay a night.

Never again

Liked: The girls were lovely.
Disliked: The man taking my booking was rude and unhelpful. I requested room to be ready at 1 so I could get ready for a wedding only to be told he forgot. Waited and waited. Had to get ready in a diffent guest bedroom and was late to the wessing. My room was the same size as a coffin and the bathroom on a different floor.

Good room —but location of...

Liked: Room was clean and spacious. En-suite grand. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was continental-(think for the price a cooked breakfast might have been offered).
Disliked: 37 steps up to room on top floor! I’m not young any more. Car parking out on street—so not able to park directly at the house. Quite an uphill walk from city centre to the guesthouse.
