Perfect location, helpful staff and...

Liked: Perfect location to explore the old town, nice staff and good rooms with nice shower and comfy beds! It does not have a bar but there are plenty near by.
Disliked: For the money we paid it is very good value for money and there is nothing not to like about the Sercotel Arenal

Very comfortable and pleasant hotel...

Liked: We stayed here twice either side of a trip to Madrid. The first "basic" room we had, on the top floor, was in fact very spacious, with an almost equally big bathroom. Windows were in the roof, so there was no view, but it wasn't really needed when we were going out and about.
Disliked: My suggestion for a future stay would be to provide the rooms with fans as the rooms could be stuffy with the windows closed - I wasn't sure there was A/C although I prefer fans anyway.

Liked: Ideally situated to be in the old town but with quick access over the river to the other side of Bilbao. Breakfast was excellent

Liked: The location was outstanding. It's in walking distance to the old town with all its attractions. You really can't beat it. The service was excellent and highly supportive. The room was also great. I highly recommend this place !!!

Liked: Excellent location - at the cusp of the old and new hearts of Bilboa. Kind, helpful staff and a great room! We were able to walk everywhere.
