Seraphine Hammersmith Hotel

We were advised to park in the Kings Mall car park for an overnight Saturday to Sunday stay - that was a good 8 minute walk through a rough looking estate through a shopping mall to the hotel. When you have bags this is not what you want or expect at a Best Western. When arriving at reception we mentioned the parking and the long walk - they told us you can park for free after 6 and it's free tomorrow. We later discovered they weren't talking about the Kings Mall car park, which ended up costing us £30 for one night! Reception then continued to tell us whilst having a patronising grin on their faces that at least we had a good room, a sizeable room. We got to the room and to get past the double bed you had to turn on your side with your bum against the wall. It was a very small room. Next time we will pay for a better hotel. Money wasn't the problem, it was the service.

Liked: Close to Hammersmith Apollo.
Disliked: Parking advice and parking poor; very small room; very poor service - staff at reception and bar were slow and sarcastic.

Liked: The staff were all very kind! I also liked the convenience to the trains.The scheduled complimentary breakfast was fun!
Disliked: The rooms are very small and the air conditioning didn’t work too well. It cooled only to a comfortable warm. We were staying in a building with no lift, which was okay for us but I don’t think that information was obvious on the description. We were asked upon check in if we had any mobility issues and were told at that time there were no lifts. So I assume they would have accommodated us if we did have any mobility issues. All the staff were very friendly.

Great location and lots of...

Liked: The hotel is in a great location, with shops, groceries, the metro, and a gorgeous park all within walking distance. The hotel itself is housed within two separate entrances around the corner from each other with the reception being in one. The rooms are small but cosy and have all the amenities, including tra/coffee and a light breakfast delivered to your door at the agreed hour in the morning. Very comfortable beds, an excellent shower, and a powerful AC.
Disliked: Would be great to have something hot included in the breakfast options, although realising the difficulty with the delivery.

Liked: We came all way from Croatia. And here is our review. Location is good. Breakfest is fine and staff was awesome. The bedroom is very comfortable and cozy.
Disliked: One thing that they could improve is breakfest. It would be awesome if they have a buffet and a breakfest room. That’s it everything is perfect.
