Seraphine Hammersmith Hotel

We were advised to park in the Kings Mall car park for an overnight Saturday to Sunday stay - that was a good 8 minute walk through a rough looking estate through a shopping mall to the hotel. When you have bags this is not what you want or expect at a Best Western. When arriving at reception we mentioned the parking and the long walk - they told us you can park for free after 6 and it's free tomorrow. We later discovered they weren't talking about the Kings Mall car park, which ended up costing us £30 for one night! Reception then continued to tell us whilst having a patronising grin on their faces that at least we had a good room, a sizeable room. We got to the room and to get past the double bed you had to turn on your side with your bum against the wall. It was a very small room. Next time we will pay for a better hotel. Money wasn't the problem, it was the service.

Liked: Close to Hammersmith Apollo.
Disliked: Parking advice and parking poor; very small room; very poor service - staff at reception and bar were slow and sarcastic.

Couldn’t swing a cat in...

Liked: Room so small could not move around . Bathroom /toilet extremely small.
Disliked: Size of room and layout, no room to move

Definitely a good choice considering...

Liked: The location is superb. So close to transportation options and local amenities. Breakfast is good too being it packed/box breakfast.
Disliked: Our room wasn’t made up when we left the make up sign on the door so our rubbish were overflowing for the 2 nights we were there.

Superb

Liked: A lovely surprise - clean and quiet, and friendly staff. Better than it looked! It was handy for visiting Hammersmith.
Disliked: It was on high street which might have been a problem, but our room was facing away from the street and really lovely.

Passable

Clean and nice staff, BUT...

Liked: Very friendly personnel
Disliked: -dent in the mattress in room 126. Left side.-water temperature fluctuates cold to hot if you shower. Not constantly... But every 30 seconds.-cleaning staff was late and hadn't done my room at 19:30

Perfect location and great service!

Liked: The room was spacious and very clean. The staff was really nice and helpful, meeting all our needs. The location is perfect for transport and plenty of shops and pubs around.
Disliked: The only negative aspect we found is that they did not have a lift in our building but they offered to carry our luggage to our room.

Disliked: The triple room is a little bit small. This is probably the only drawback.

Wonderful staff. Met our needs...

Liked: Great air conditioning! A cool skylight that you could close to have it dark to sleep in if you wanted. Very clean. Nice bathroom. There is a safe in the room. Wonderful and responsive staff.
Disliked: Literally, the only thing that could use improvement would be maybe a little more walking room but it was all great. This had everything we needed plus some. The staff was superb! There were nice, responsive, and even humorous. It was clean, comfortable, provided basic necessities for us plus extras: They even provided a breakfast that was brought every morning. We loved the bathroom and cool skylight.
