The best hostel in Melbourne

Liked: I’ve stayed in a few Melbourne hostels but this is by far the best. The staff were so nice, especially Danny. He was so lovely and funny, and was really helpful throughout my stay. The beds were so comfy and the showers were great. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Liked: The location was good, easy to access main parts of Melbourne. The staff were brilliant, very kind and helpful.
Disliked: Do not book a private room here. For the cost, it isn’t worth it. The windows are paper thin, you will not be able to sleep properly due to noise outside. It’s worse than you think. There was a drain on my ceiling that literally woke me up multiple times due to water rushing through it so loudly. I’ve never experience that before! Walls paper thin. Can hear everything in the other rooms.One thing no one mentions - the hostel is on top of a nightclub. The room literally vibrated all night to techno music. The shared bathrooms that they show in the images are not true, expect standard hostel style multiple showers next to toilet cubicles. The room advertised looked entirely different to the images. Honestly, I’ve walked away feeling pretty scammed. I wouldn’t book here unless you’re 100% okay with the above. Don’t expect a good night’s sleep.
