Liked: Ideal location—right opposite Flinders Street Station, which made getting around the city super easy. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially Danny from Mexico, who was extremely helpful and went out of his way to make sure guests felt comfortable.The place was clean, well-maintained, and had a great vibe overall. Loved meeting people from around the world, sharing stories, and enjoying the positive energy. Highly recommend if you're looking for a social, well-located, and stress-free stay in Melbourne!

disapointing

Liked: The room with beds and space in the family room was comfrotable and clean
Disliked: that it was a doorway location to get into it. That there was a club downstairs at the same entrance. That it was a former hostel and your marketing does not reflect reality. The cost to stay is way too expensive for the property and would like to discuss about getting at least a half refund. The ironic thing is that we come back from the snow and have to stay again as had already prebooked for another night and its too late to get anything better.

Exceptional

Liked: Love the private bunks with power and a shelf. Huge game changer for hostel comfort. The bar underneath the hostel is exactly the type of Melbourne bar you want to have close. Loved to funky live music on a Monday, defence worth checking out!
Disliked: The shower facilities could be cleaner. With the amount of people using them they got dirty pretty quickly.The plumbing from the level above ran through our bedroom and was very loud every time someone used a toilet so ear plugs are a must!

Liked: The room was clean and quiet and had comfortable bedding. The common areas were also clean. While I didn't use it during my stay, the kitchen looked well equipped and the movie room seemed like a nice place to relax if you were staying for longer periods. The best standout was the bar in the basement and its adjoining record store. It was actually such an incredible place to go out and have a dance, particularly if you like more soulful eclectic dance music - and then when you're ready for bed you can just catch the elevator in the basement straight up to your floor - incredible!
Disliked: Two of the beds in the girls' room don't have any curtains which left you feeling a bit exposed.
