Cute place. Terrible management.

Liked: The on-site attendant was wonderful.
Disliked: Both the toilet and the elevator were not working. Switched two different rooms and the toilet was broken in both. I’m in a wheelchair so broken elevator meant I had to be carried down to the first floor by my spouse. Not an option for most people.

Would not recommend!!

Liked: Walking distance to french quarter and all shops/restaurants ect.
Disliked: Apartment had no AC was broken and could not move us to another unit. Microwave did not work, washer and dryer both were not working. Tv in the apartment was not working, no wifi for guests unlike what was stated on the info page on the room. Rooftop bar and lobby bar downstairs we no longer used but we were told they were open. Bed was not comfortable and had a bad odor throughout apartment. Staff was amazing and kind but have no power to make changes or anything for guests. They stated they were aware of the issues but are told to not say anything.

PERFECT LOCATION and NOT a...

Liked: The location, the ambiance, the staff! This is not a typical franchise "fancy" hotel. The building is old but the updates are great. We stayed in the flats side. The bed was absolutely so so so comfy!!!! The staff was so friendly. We had a mini fridge, TV (everyone complained the TV didn't work but we got it after a few mins and only 5 channels but we were there to explore). The room temperature was perfect and room size for us 2 was perfect as well. The bathroom was HUGE, two sinks. The shower didn't drain well but that is also okay. We've stayed in some fancy places but this was so quirky and cute. Walking to the French Quarter was a breeze! Not sure why anyone would complain about this place???

Disliked: When arrived the room I had the elevator was down had to climb to 3rd floor and end up falling hurt my leg and right knee when reported it to front desk they laughed @ me and I asked to be moved still upstairs no elevator and air didn’t kick on @ time I reported it but nothing was done worse experience of my life I even left a day early had to get leg checked out still swelling and had to take antibiotics thank god I take blood thinners because of blood clots nobody picked up our trash we ask for towels or etc but staff was rude or they was racism one of the two I can’t believe people would let people work for them like that my first time to new orleanes to watch Mari gras
