Liked: Very comfortable, quiet and clean Staff very helpful and polite
Disliked: Not a lot of complaints - except Sound from TV rather bad

Good location, value for money

Liked: Conveniently located, reasonable room size, clean and quiet. There is no tea/coffee making facilities, no complimentary water or limited toiletries but kettle is available on request. There is a nearby (5mins walk) convenient store to get water, yoghurt, etc. Hotel offers Free drink (juice/coffee/tea) in return for no daily cleaning service request.

Liked: The main reason I stay in select hotel is the fact I can get apartment with my own cooking facilities so no pressure on breakfast times etc can do my own thing
Disliked: The WiFi very poor and there was an offer if you opted out of room cleaning you got 2 free drink vouchers at bar which never happened 🫤

Great place near Checkpoint Charlie...

Liked: The staff was extremely helpful & knowledgeable, also they spoke English well. Had a mini-fridge & gave us a bottle of water each day we did not use the cleaning service. The hotel was near many attractions, within walking distance for most people. Museum Island, the Spire, and East Side Gallery was walking distance for us but may be a bit farther than some people may want to walk (40mins-60mins). We enjoy walking and we were able to find hidden gems along the way. A couple of the Hop-on, Hop-off Bus tours had a stop in front of Checkpoint Charlie (about 50m from the hotel). They also stored our luggage while we explored a little more after checking out.Strongly suggest La Pino(sp) restaurant, a little over a block away.
Disliked: The showerhead could use descaling or replaced. It sprayed everywhere. Apparently, it is a thing in Germany that hotels do not supply washcloths. I was not aware of this prior.

Perfect stay to explore the...

Liked: Very clean rooms, lovely bathroom. Nice to have a mini fridge for our drinks. Reception staff were very friendly and cheerful, also allowed us to borrow an iron and board.
Disliked: TV didn't have any English entertainment channels. I expected the room to be a little bigger than it was.

Liked: I liked that it was super quiet and comfy room. The windows are really sound proof and the location is great!

Great location, good size rooms...

Liked: Great location, one minute walk to Check Point Charlie and coffee shops are very close. The Irish Pub across the road was good value for money. The stop for all the Hop On Hop Off Bus companies were at Check Point Charlie down the road.

Perfect location

Liked: Fantastic breakfast ! So many options and exceptional quality of food. Italian guy at the reception made this stay ! Helpful, nice and supporting, sharing great tips for people who to experience Berlin. So if you are lucky to have him at work, your stay will be unforgettable. The rest of reception workers … hmm… very average. Good parking option, nice bar with outside tables.
Disliked: Air conditioning in the room requires service. If you book online please ask for the room that is not a street one! It’s very loud at night. Rooms from the other side are perfect.
