Perfect hotel for a short...
Liked: Location, the staff, the breakfast. Building. Very quiet. Information surrounding Stuart Suttcliffe of the original Beatles.
Disliked: Window didn’t work so couldn’t keep open. So I was a bit hot at night.

Short, peaceful stay.
Liked: It was in a very lovely location, 10 minutes walk from local shops and takeaways/restaurants, and right across from Sefton Park. Small but adequate car park and loved having a room overlooking it for peace of mind. Room was extremely spacious and the staff were friendly. Fantastic beer garden with very reasonably priced bar.
Disliked: The room could have been a little cleaner (cobwebs, dust and hairs), the roof in the bathroom was mouldy and leaked when there was heavy rain.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff
Liked: Lovely staff made us immediately welcome. The decor is tasteful and the room comfortable. Parking was easy, and breakfast was good. A nice bar area too. We'd certainly stay there again.
Disliked: The room decor was slightly dated, but not enough to put us off staying again.

Good
Liked: Fantastic location, next to Sefton Park and a short walk to Lark lane where there are some amazing pubs, bars and restaurants. Good value.
Disliked: Attic room so it was hot, room was facing a busy road so I could hear cars go by quite loudly. Fairly basic room with an average bed. Bathroom across the hall not really ideal.

Superb
Liked: Beautiful building, well looked after, wonderful Scouse hospitality, just a great visit!
Disliked: Firm beds, but that’s a personal preference. :)

Very poor
Liked: The location was fine and lovely seating area outside for drinks
Disliked: The room we were given was awful, window would not stop open, we had to put a toilet roll in to keep it open.the chair was broken, chunks of plaster out in the walls, no full length mirror, even though I had rang up two weeks before requesting one, not particularly clean, we were there for my sons wedding and needed to get ready for the ceremony on the Saturday. The room needed painting instead of the patch up that was done on the walls. We paid £394 for two nights and expected a decent room, not a basic room which were given, we complained and were offered the coach house which we accepted, but did not need the added stress that we had. The breakfast on the first morning we were not offered any cereal, none put out on the table. Also cannot understand why if we booked to stay next weekend it would only be £180, there was nothing special going on in Liverpool for the weekend we were there. Not at all happy.

Good location, friendly staff nice...
Liked: Good location near the park, with excellent transport links to the city centre.
Disliked: Room felt quite small, bathroom was functional rather than special
