Nice stay at a good...

Liked: Great location, easy to park, decent sized comfortable room, dog friendly, staff were friendly and we were an able to check in early.
Disliked: Strong smell of bleach when entering the room.

Great location

Liked: Hotel is in a great location and a grand old house. Staff are good. Room was a good size.
Disliked: The room was warm and no way of cooling, couldn't crack the window open. The bathroom was small and a bit worn out. Needed a refresh. Lock was broken, holes in the wall, decor needed redoing, but it was clean and functional.

Very friendly staff, great for...

Liked: The staff were super friendly and they had an amazing full vegan breakfast!
Disliked: Car parking was very limited but luckily I found parking in a public space right outside.

Really lovely place, great staff...

Liked: Looked really good inside and outside. Lots of memorabilia from Liverpool area

Excellent value

Liked: Lovely setting, beautiful building, with a well stocked bar. If the weather had been better it would have been nice to sit outside watching the sun set over the park.
Disliked: The shower grouting was discoloured. The mattress was not at all supportive and the room was quite warm

Fantastic second stay, great renovation,...

Liked: This is the second time we have stayed at Sefton Park and was amazing at how much work has been put into renovations. The artworks from Stuart Sutcliffe was a real bonus. Also - the VEGAN breakfast that included fresh avocado! ALL the staff were lovely and helpful. The park opposite is great for a gentle stroll round too. We'll stay here again when we next visit family in Liverpool
