Exceptional

Liked: Rooms were lovely and clean and quiet at night time. Shower was great. Lovely buffet breakfast. Becky on reception was very helpful when checking in. Food was lovely.
Disliked: Rooms were a little bit dark.

We were there for a...

Liked: The setting was beautiful
Disliked: There are lots of outside seating areas which were most welcome because it was very hot but a clean-up was needed around the tables. Lots of cigarette stubs, and other rubbish including someone’s shoe.! but don’t let this put you off. The rest of the hotel was great. Lovely beds, very clean rooms and bathrooms. And we found the staff very welcoming

Brilliant, just a few simple...

Liked: Location great. As a vegan when I compared it t to other hotels on my current trip it was a lot better BUT foods on offer need to be labelled so as we can ALL identify what is in e.g Granola ( it may contain honey) , by doing this simple thing it saves time as busy staff are not being asked questions & having to leave to check with chefs, it saves money as you have less waste & it can & does prevent allergic reactions etc and it is very appreciated. Ideally vegetarian/vegan/gluten free etc should be separate from other foods because on 2 occasions this morning I saw people who do clearly do not have dietary requirements use tongs etc to pick up meat & egg products that were clearly for beans and the other for mushrooms & tomatoes. Due to this “cross contamination “ we could not eat any of those things.Hotel staff all friendly & welcoming. Room was super clean & comfortable. Location great.

OK coukd be better.

Liked: Set on the outskirts of Nothampton in large grounds. Lots of rooms in blocks. Room was OK. Restruant/ Bar had a good selection of beers and food..
Disliked: Car park was very busy as they have a leisure centre. The rooms were OK but could do with updating.
