Liked: Beautiful old building, full of history. Lovely spacious accommodation. Wonderful pool. Super cuisine. Friendly staff.
Disliked: We had to wait an hour for our food on Saturday evening, whic detracted from the excellent service we had experienced on the Friday evening.

Liked: Spa was lovely, room was clean & bed was comfortable.
Disliked: Room was freezing, shower head was blocked so unusable had to use bath. Half of the spa facilities were out of order. Food was poorly cooked & served, although the menu was good.

Liked: Very nice room with a comfortable bed, good shower and the staff were excellent
Disliked: New smart TV just installed however we were unable to get any terrestrial Chanel’s as it was all apps. The assistant manager couldn’t get them either. Whilst I’m sure that the younger generation could figure it out, I’m 68 and couldn’t. This will be a problem for people my age.

Disliked: We had booked a large 4 poster room as a test for our Anniversary, the room was very large with a comfy bed, the sofa and chairs were quite uncomfortable. There was a nice terrace outside but it was too icy so we didn’t use itThe problem with this room is it is near the restaurant and all you can hear in the room is the bass sound from the speakers that are pumping out senseless lift musicIn the middle of the night (3am) we were woken up by some piece of machinery making a noise which went on until 5am so we had very little sleep. At 0830 the music started again☹️We informed the manager and got an apology but by then I was feeling awful due to lack of sleep not really the point of the stay
