The Best Hotel I Have...

Liked: This is a fantastic property, quiet and peaceful but close to all the amenities. This is the perfect antidote to ‘cookie cutter’ hotels. It feels special, a little quirky. The heartbeat of this hotel is the manager Peter, who strikes the perfect balance of attentiveness but giving guests the space to enjoy. The breakfasts were very good and cooked to order- well done the Chef. We would definitely stay here again.
Disliked: There was nothing not to like- I can usually find something I don’t like but not in this case.

The most perfect stay at...

Liked: The Seawood House is a truly beautiful property that is immaculately clean and excellently hosted by Peter at Front of house. Our bedroom was spacious and had beautiful sea views. The very pretty floral patio area at the front of the hotel is divine to sit and enjoy a drink overlooking the bay. We also had breakfast on the patio which was amazing. The breakfast was very good and certainly set us up for the day. The hotel is situated a very short walk away from the town centre, and right next to the historical funicular railway which takes you down to Lynmouth in just a few minutes. It is also ideally located to the start of the stunning Valley of the Rocks coastal walkWe had our dog with us, and we were all made to feel very welcome by Peter and the team at the Seawood House and all of the other very friendly guests. We loved our stay here and hope to return!
Disliked: Absolutely nothing. I’d genuinely recommend this hotel in a heartbeat.

Amazing hotel with stunning views,...

Liked: Beautiful hotel, stunning views, great food and service. We especially like the hot tub and the honesty bar. Lots to do right on the doorstep.
Disliked: The car park is very small, but we just about managed to park a Range Rover, but honestly nothing that we didn’t like it was all amazing!

Exceptional

Liked: The location is amazing, the host made us feel very welcome. The whole experience was over our expectations, the bedrooms and all the other parts of the hotel looked and felt straight out of a fairy tale - I really liked that the decor throughout the hotel was in harmony with the 200 year old building and the town itself. And despite being 200 years old, everything was in perfect condition.

A Wonderful Stay in Lynton

Liked: A great location for the South Coast Path. We were welcomed by Peter, who made our short stay memorable. The room was large with a great view over the bay and cliffs.
